Frame Size: The size in which the window or door is produced. That is, the width x height, from one side of the frame to the other.
Opening Size: The size of the hole in the wall. To arrive at the frame size, 2-3 cm should be subtracted from the opening size, to allow space for the seal for the door or window.

Choose the material for your window or door. For most of our products you can choose between pinewood or aluminium clad pinewood. For alu/clad products the exterior of the product has a 1 mm alu cladding.
For tilt & turn elements made of wood & wood/aluminium, triple glazing is possible with a frame depth of 92 mm.
Choose the glazing. The options depend on material and model. Read more in the info box (?).
Choose the type of glass which fits the purpose of the window. You can choose between ordinary clear glass and different types of obscure glass.
Building Regulations guidance (Approved Document K): Standard (non-safety) glass may only be used where the bottom edge of the glazing is more than 800 mm above the finished floor level and not within 300 mm of a door opening. Glazing that is below 800 mm; in a door; or within 300 mm of a door edge and below 1500 mm: these must use toughened or laminated safety glass (or be protected by a suitable barrier).
Choose the opening direction. The opening direction is determined by the side on which the hinges are. Doors can open either inside or outside. If you are unsure which you should choose, you can find further information in the box below.
You can choose decorative foils with graining for your uPVC window. The standard color of the uPVC windows is white RAL 9016.
Choose your glazing bars. The glazing bars are glued on to the glass on the inside and outside of the window, for a modern and energy saving solution. Choose Georgian bars, if you want the glazing bars to sit inside the glass unit. This makes the job of cleaning the windows easier.
Spacers in between the glass panes and glazing bars can be chosen as an add-on.
A "warm edge" spacer improves the insulating qualities of the glass.

Select your desired security level, to change to espagnolette in your door/window. these levels adhere to the european standard (EN 1627:2011). To meet security class RC 1 and RC 2 for windows, a lockable handle must also be selected. To increase security, it is also advisable to choose security glass.
We offer vents in white or grey. Our trickle & tryk vents allow fresh air into the room even if the window or the door is closed, thus ensuring a better indoor climate.

Patio, balcony and French doors are supplied as standard with a single interior handle. For certain models, a double handle - inside and outside - is available as an optional feature. If this option is offered, it will appear in the selection below.
Windows or doors with dimensions exceeding 210 cm in width or height will be delivered using a HIAB. A HIAB fee of £199 per order will be automatically added to the delivery cost during checkout.
