Louise's home with a twist

Come and visit Louise's beautifully renovated home. Over the past few years, Louise and her family have modernised their house inside and out – and the results are stunning! We’re particularly excited about the striking contrast between the new black window frames and the traditional yellow bricks from the 1960s.

In the living room, the family has installed French doors with glazing bars.
The glazing bars create a cosy atmosphere and can offer a charming contrast to a modern home.

In summer, the patio becomes an additional room with direct access from the living room through the double garden doors. In winter, the garden doors provide a lovely view of the garden.

When winter comes and the temperature drops, it’s lovely to enjoy a cosy living room.
Energy-efficient windows and doors make it easier to retain warmth inside.

Did you know that more than a third of a home’s heat can escape through the windows? If your house still has older windows, switching to energy-efficient windows and doors can save you a significant amount on energy costs.

When the temperature rises and the summer has started, it’s wonderful to open the windows and let fresh air into your home.

It’s also great to have direct access to the terrace, making it easy to enjoy meals with the family or a cup of coffee while the children play in the garden.

Order your next patio door handle with friction stay, allowing you to lock the door in your desired position. This prevents the door from swinging open and shut in a light breeze.

Large windows or garden doors create a fantastic amount of light in the home.
Even with dark walls, as Louise and her family have chosen for the living room, there’s a beautiful play of sunlight that hits the door with the glazing bars. We understand it’s the dog’s favourite spot.
