External doors
It can be difficult to work out which is the best opening direction for your new external door. The opening direction may depend on how much space you have in your hall or on whether you live in a townhouse with steps leading up to the front door, where it may be difficult to accommodate an external door that opens outwards.

Knotless doors produced to your dimensions
When wood is used in the production of windows and doors, it is of benefit to reduce the number of knots as much as possible. Fewer knots result in a stronger piece of wood and reduce the risk of the wood “bleeding” resin during the warmest months of the year.

Wooden doors:

Whether you choose ordinary pine doors or aluminium clad doors depends entirely on your personal taste and type of dwelling. Aluminium clad doors combine the best properties of wood with aluminium’s weather resistant exterior. In addition, aluminium clad doors do not need continuous maintenance and are therefore a time-saving alternative.
How to take measurements for a new pre hung door
You may think that taking measurements for a door is a major task, but at SparWindows we have made it easy to do it yourself. All you need is some paper, a pencil and measuring tape!
