If the weather doesn’t allow for the doors to be opened, the family can still enjoy the garden and beautiful trees from inside through the large windows.
Homes from the 1960s weren’t built with the open kitchen layout we desire today.
That’s why Nina and her husband removed some walls during the kitchen renovation to create a large, open space with room for the whole family. The large window with the garden door is truly the cherry on top.
In the villa's bedrooms, the family has chosen casement windows with large glass panels,
making the rooms bright and inviting. The side windows are easy to operate, and when you use the catch, the window won’t blow in or out while ventilating.
Bathrooms are often small and dark, but here the family has opted for a large window that lets in plenty of light.
It makes the bathroom feel welcoming and radiates wellness. The window is placed high, offering a bit of privacy. Frosted glass can also be chosen to prevent people from looking inside.
